Sundays are for Reading

Mia Garlock

Welp. I just spent the first 4 hours of my day devouring the last half of the first Crescent City book. I have done nothing else.

I’m still in my pajamas. I have eaten toast and drank tea, and that is the full extent of my activities today.  I’m unsure if I will be productive at all. I have so much to process. * warning, Crescent City Spoilers*

Bryce, shooting a Vanir in the head, decapitating him, setting him on fire, and then vacuuming his dusty ass up and throwing his ashes in the trash can out back.

Bryce running through the city in converse and leggings and a leather jacket with a sword in one hand and a rifle in the other, shooting demons in the face and being an absolute badass. Grandpa Wolf calling her a true wolf, letting everyone in the room know that she was the only one who understood love and loyalty and what it meant to fight for it

Or Hunt, ripping the head off of his captor.  And the 800 pages of sexual tension between him and Bryce.

I am a well of emotions and thoughts and questions, and I will spend the day thinking of nothing else.

I’ve bought the second book. It’s sitting in my kindle app, twinkling and full of promise. But I know the cliffhanger at the end is there, and will probably have me throwing my phone or tablet across the room when I  get to it. So I haven’t opened it yet. I don’t know if I’m emotionally ready for it. HA!

I have a load of laundry to do. And I should probably get some fresh air at some point in time and get my eyes off this screen before they melt. Maybe get dressed and be productive. It probably won’t happen. I’ll be reading he rest of the day.
